“Short but excellent time in Pompeii. Enough shade that even in 90 degree summer heat it was doable. The bay of Naples is beautiful. At the end of the day, a group spending the night in Sorrento departed on a separate van and we went back to the city. Wish I could have gone with them, haha. I wish the tour would stop for photo op with all of the sunflower fields you end up driving by. They offered drop offs on the way back which saved us metro fare. I appreciated it! We bought a much needed coffee at the early morning meeting spot. A long day but well…”
